On Wednesday, May 17th Antonio Statti – owner and producer from the Calabrian estate of Statti Wines – will be presenting his wines next to the culinary creations of our chef at Aroma on Bryant. Antonio’s family has been working the land in the hills of Calabria since the 18th century while cultivating an intimate understanding of the region’s indigenous grapes varieties which include gaglioppo, greco and malvasia.

Starter: Frittelle di mucca (anchovy fritters), soppressata, caciocavallo with Acinum Prosecco
First: Grilled sardines and greens with Lamezia Bianco
Second: Pesce Spada Crudo with Greco Lamezia
Third: Rigatoni alla Calabrese or Linguini ai ricci di mare with Gaglioppo
Fourth: Medley of lamb with Arvino or Batasarro
Fifth: Pine nut torte and zabaione with dessert wine
